Global Café
Global Café is designed as an informal meeting place for those wishing to chat in English. Hosted by the Foreign Language Research Institute, Global Café is an opportunity for native and non-native speakers of English to converse freely in small groups. This weekly event takes place Thursday nights. Global Café is open to the public, and welcomes everyone regardless of their level of English. No advance registration is necessary.

Global Café Special
At this event, volunteers from Gunma Prefecture and beyond give short presentations in English on a topic of their choice. This event is open to the public, and offers a chance to learn about world culture, history, geography, and many other interesting aspects of life around the world.
